Principal of our college is an Anna University Approved research supervisor and his supervisor recognition number is 20.299.22 dated 31.1.2013. Presently he is guiding 8 scholars under Anna University.

His Ph.D Research work - profile includes mathematical model to determine cutting force, optimization of machining parameters using Genetic Algorithm (GA), predict the chatter-free vibrations using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Validation by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analyser, Nyquist Criterion for studying the dynamic stability of the system, prediction of tool wear using two different models, namely regression mathematical and ANN models.

Research Project:

Principal Investigator of the project sponsored by AICTE for a grant of Rs 9.0 Lakhs titled “Studies on Cutting force and Stability in End Milling” under Research Promotion Scheme (RPS) F.No: 8023/BOR/RID/RPS-149/2008-09 dated 12-03-09, which has been completed in 2012.

Technology Research and Development Department

To cope-up with the fast growing trends in Engineering and technology developments in emerging areas of Electronics / Electrical / Computer / Mechanical Engg. a R & D department has been established.

Under this center different activities such as, continuing education programmes, technical consultancy services, R & D, Central Repair Unit, Prototype models development, technical publication, in-house technical Lectures, Seminars are carrying out.
