About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in the year 2002 with the approval from AICTE. The department has a team of highly qualified, dedicated and motivated faculty and well equipped laboratories.

To attain a good technical knowledge about the instrumentation field, we have modern instruments in each lab such as NI Elvis kit ,DAQ cards in Virtual Instrumentation lab, Flow, Level Temperature measurement set up in Industrial Instrumentation and Process control lab.

The trainer kits for measuring different process variables available in Transducer Lab. The classrooms are equipped with audio-visual equipment to facilitate effective learning. They are designed to promote maximum interaction between the faculty and the students.

We have the department association called “INSTRUENZA” and this association motivates the students to participate in State and National level seminars, workshops and conferences. We send students for in-plant training to the industries to get the knowledge on recent trends in the instrumentation field. We provide special coaching to the needy students. Students are going for industrial visits every semester. We are organizing guest lectures by experts and eminent persons from various fields.

The department trains the students for master degree entrance exams like GATE, JEE, CAT, MAT and also in the region of design, research and maintenance activities to choose their careers in power plant maintenance, monitoring and control engineering.

Job Opportunities

Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering strives to cater fully to the entire needs of instrumentation industry, be it fertilizer and chemicals, cement paper, sugar, power generation or petrochemical in nature. The instrumentation engineers are involved in the construction, maintenance, production, design, and development and consultancy activities. Many of our instrumentation engineers are enjoying their best placements in India and abroad. Many entrepreneurs from the industries come every year to absorb our technocrats for placements in their industries and we are also proud to learn that all are extremely well off.
