PRINCIPAL’S PROFILE

Dr. S. V. Suresh Babu, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, M.E. in Industrial Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and Ph.D. from JNTU Anantapur, is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

He has 27 years of professional experience in academics and 6 years of administrative experience as Head of the Department (Mechanical Engineering).

Dr. Suresh Babu has enriched his academic and research knowledge through contributions to reputed publications. He has published 21 research papers in National and International journals, presented 20 papers in National conferences, and 10 papers in international conferences. He has also participated in 10 Workshops/FDPs/STTPs to enhance his professional expertise.

He has taught 17 different courses, handled 5 specialized laboratories, supervised the establishment of 2 new laboratories, and guided 45 B.Tech projects and 15 M.Tech projects. Dr. Suresh Babu is a Life Member of the Institution of Engineers (India). He has played a key role as a convener in several symposiums, conferences, seminars, and workshops. He has also successfully obtained grants for conducting IEI conferences and AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Programs.

With his dedicated guidance and leadership, he has consistently motivated both students and faculty members toward academic and professional excellence.
